Stop working
Yo!
I’m against the "grind". Period.
And most advice you see on Twitter are geared only towards that…
Working, working, working…
Maybe reaching your financial goals (maybe)
Aaaand burning-out, fucking up your health and leaving that wannabe influencer with your cash, as most likely he sold you some BS course.
So in this email I’ll dive deeper on this topic, and hope to spark a conversation.

a chill cat
First things first…
I had an insane burnout a few years ago. It was nasty.
It left me morally crippled for 2 months and I felt awful.
That’s why I’m VERY cautious with how much I work and how I organise the process.
Below you’ll find some things I reconsidered and recommend you do the same:
Prioritise yourself. Always
Your work might seem important, but not as important as you.
Take breaks, treat yourself to something nice (from time to time), enjoy your time with your loved ones… and don’t think too much of your 9-5.
Make independent systems to free up your time
It can be as easy as automating your boring 9-5 stuff to having an online business running independently of you.
Schedule your day according to your energy levels
This is quite a new concept for me, but it’s a powerful one.
Instead of doing things with brute force, why not just divide your day by what activity is easier?
Personally, I’m most EFFICIENT (forget “PRODUCTIVITY”, yuck) before noon.
So that’s why I write, research and do other brainy stuff before I gobble down my lunch (or even my breakfast).
Have a strong why
This is a cliché, at this point. I agree…
BUT many people are blindly working for no apparent reason.
Define your ideal (modest) lifestyle and what amount of hours you must slave (or not)… and do the bare minimum.
Or the stuff that moves the needle.
Say no to 90%
Not talking about your personal life, of course.
In retrospect, you may (or may not) agree that most people you know and consider as “friends“ won’t be here in the long run, or are simple not that important as your parents, your S.O or your kids…
By this little provocation I’m inviting you to consider what people are TRULY deserving of your time.
I’m not speaking with arrogance, just brutal honesty.
Read the 4-hour work week by Tim Ferris. Goldmine on this subject.
Are you on the same side as me, or are you a sigma grindset enjoyer?
Lemme know by replying ;)
P.S I always read your feedback. So don’t be shy: share your thoughts or what you’d like me to write about🤠
